Richa is an award-winning NYC-based filmmaker. Films were not a big part of Richa’s childhood growing up in India, but it wasn’t until pursuing a statistics graduate degree in the U.S that she discovered independent and foreign cinema and fell in love with the medium. Her first short film, TAAZA KHOON (FRESH BLOOD), screened at Nashville Film Festival, winning 8 awards across 28 film festivals and is available on Amazon Prime and Shorts TV India. Her latest short film THE SEAL won the 2019 Future of Film is Female grant and is currently enjoying a successful run on the festival circuit. It will premiere December 9th, 2020 online on the FOFIF website. She has also directed and acted in short films and Off Broadway plays. She is currently developing a TV series about data science, astrology, and dreams. Richa's scripts have placed in Oscars-qualifying festivals and competitive screenwriting labs such as HollyShorts, Nashville, Stowe Narrative Lab, ScreenCraft, and Shore Scripts. She is a strong proponent for increasing diversity in storytelling and serves as the Vice President of Development for NYC Women Filmmakers, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting women in film. A storyteller at heart, she enjoys stories of courage.

Aparna is a development practitioner and quantitative analyst working in the field of rural development, currently based out of Philadelphia, PA. She recently graduated with her Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University and is now working at Babban Gona, a Nigerian social enterprise that assists smallholder maize farmers. Alicia is a native of Guyana, South America. She immigrated to the United States of America with her family when she was 2 years old. She was raised in a conservative and sheltered home environment in the Bay Area, California and was the first in her family to graduate with a college degree. Alicia is passionate about her career, she enjoys hiking, travel, art, reading, writing, social gatherings, and she loves spending quality time with her family and friends.

LeRon L. Barton
LeRon is a writer from Kansas City, Missouri who currently lives in San Francisco, CA. He has a graduate from the Paseo Academy of Fine Arts. LeRon is the author of two books, Straight Dope: A 360 degree look into American Drug Culture and; All We Really Need Is Love: Stories of Dating, Relationships, Heartbreak, and Marriage. In addition to his books, LeRon is an essayist whose topics cover racism, mass incarceration, politics, gender, and dating. His work has appeared in Black Enterprise, Salon, The Good Men Project, Your Tango, Media Diversity, Raconteur, Elephant Journal, East Bay Times, and MoAD. LeRon is an international speaker who has given multiple talks and appeared on TEDx, Al Jazeera, the University of San Francisco (USF), Speakers Who Dare, Glide Memorial Church, Los Altos Chamber of Commerce, and Defy Ventures. In his spare time, LeRon enjoys mentoring African-American youth, teaching Creative Writing at the San Francisco County Jail, and backpacking around the world.
